                                       The Department of Botany is 11 years old, being started in 2009 with one conventional course with combination of Botany, Zoology and Chemistry. The Department inculcates scientific and experimental spirit in the students. The department pursues a scientific knowledge by supplementing the digital classroom and modern teaching with seminars, quiz competitions, field trips guest lecture etc. to help the students metamorphose his personality.

                                       Department of Botany functioning together with the department of Zoology and Chemistry .Botany being an important component to life sciences offers immense opportunities for further studies in biotechnology, genetics, plant molecular Biology, Bioinformatics , Environmental Science and other related fields.
