The Department of Physics was established in the year 2009 with one conventional course with combination of Mathematics and Chemistry. In 2014, A new restructured course was introduced with the combination of Mathematics and Computer Science. It is the bridle department of Government Degree College, Narasannapeta with 11 years of history. Currently, it has 1 faculty members and over 138 students pursuing Bachelor's degree. Students of department of Physics are motivated to be innovative in their thinking while being strong in the Analytical and logical. They are exposed to latest technology through "Student to Student Programme", workshops and guest lectures. Department of Physics is functioning together with the departments of Mathematics, Chemistry and Computer Science.
