            The Department of Zoology is 11 years old, being started in 2009. Zoology is one of the subject at 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of under graduate students, One conventional course with combination of Botany and Chemistry. The Department inculcates scientific and experimental spirit in the students. The Department pursues a scientific knowledge by supplementing the digital class room and modern teaching with power point presentation, seminars, quiz competition, field trips, gust lecture, etc., to help the students metamorphose is personality.

             One well developed laboratory with different types of models, specimens, charts, permanent, slides, microscopes and equipments present. Department of Zoology functioning together with Department of Botany and Chemistry. Zoology being an important component to life sciences offers immense opportunities for further studies in Fishery and Aquaculture, Immunology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Environmental science and other related fields.
